Associate Engineer - Technician (RJ)

Job Purpose:
- Investigate problems with instruments and sensors including flow meters, variable speed drives, temperature sensors, pressure switches and level transmitters, PLC parts, profibus communication devices and input/output interfaces.
- Repairs and maintains electrical and instrument equipment using hand tools, power tools, & precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Engages in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machines, equipment, and instruments.
- Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using electrical and electronic testing devices and pressure measuring instruments.
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings, instrument loop diagrams
- MUST have knowledge in PLC programming, Electrical Motors, Control Wirings, AC Drives & Automation Software
- Performs all work in accordance with LOTO system, established safety rules and procedures.
Job Requirement:
- Candidates must possess a Diploma or equivalent in Electrical & Electronic or Electrical & Instrument
- At least 3 years working experience in related field is required for this position
- Those who has factory/manufacturing environment experience is added advantage for this position
- Good knowledge in machine / equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
- Fast learner and able to work independently
- Must be able to work on shift rotation
