Increase in employer's contribution rate to 13% effective January 2012 for salary RM5000 & below
|

EPF has increased employer’s contribution rate from 12% to 13% effective January 2012 for salary RM5000 and below.
The employer’s contribution rate for salary above RM5000 still remains at 12%. The employee’s contribution rate is still maintain at 11%.
The employer’s contribution rate for employees who are 55 years and above and salary not exceeding RM5,000 has also increased from 6% to 6.5%.
While, the employee’s contribution rate will still maintain at 5.5%.
